I was approached by a local company last year
to join them in opening a new store. They asked me if I would be
interested in joining their team and bring my equipment and experience
as a roast master. The new store has been in the news
lately, called Leg Up Farmers Market. For more info: http://legupfarmersmarket.com/
My role would included
helping with the coffee and juice bar as
well. I gave it some long hard thought, and realized perhaps it may be
the right time and very exciting to move my business in a different
direction. I weighed the benefits, the most appealing to me:
It would help many people - its in
a local non-profit organization called Leg Up Farm. Leg up Farm is a
non-profit therapy center in York County, Pennsylvania for children with
special needs. Here is Leg Up Farm's website for more info: http://www.legupfarm.org/
best thing is, I still get to do the thing I love doing most...roasting
and talking to customers.
The end of December is when I'll have to stop roasting and shut my business down for the transition.
We are no longer selling on this website.
